What are we looking for?
Olujimi Choreographic Incubator is looking for dance work that is multidisciplinary, progressive and thought provoking. The OCI is designed for Artists to use their choreographic toolbox to develop various ways of storytelling and investigating the human condition.
Who can apply to OCI?
OCI is open to professional dance practitioners who have at least 5 years of choreographic experience.
What is the Residency Duration?
OCI takes place over the course of a full calendar year. There will be three showings: October, January and April which will culminate in a final performance in July.
What is the Olujimi Choreographic Incubator Timeline?
The OCI application is deadline is TBA. A Skype or in person interview will be apart of the application process.
What is the time limit for my work?
The time limit for the final draft is (20) twenty minutes maximum. The time for the three showings is TBD and will be given upon artist acceptance into OCI.
